Formal Dining Night, Jimboomba, 2005.
Towards the end of 2004 Joe Fisk, one of the three founding members of our Association and the moving spirit behind the acquisition of our Museum site, was seriously ill with cancer and doubted he would be strong enough to attend both Anzac Day 2005 and the Formal Dining Night to be held at the United Services Club, Brisbane within several days. So, in February 2005 a Formal Dining Night was held at Ted and Heather McAllan's house, Kurrajong Road, Jimboomba so he could attend. It was his last Association Dining Night.
As it eventuated, when organisers of the Field Dinners felt it was becoming too much to erect and dismantle all the canvass, Ted and Heather offered their house for future dinners.
